You're The Voice

Dear Friend, The Christian Church is the uncompromised promise of God for our city, our nation and the nations. The Church is the pillar of society which this nation is built upon! Society has forgotten its roots and has turned its back from the truth of God’s holy word and commandments. Now is the time for the Christian voice to be heard again. You are called to be the Voice.

In our cities, we see lawlessness, unrighteousness, injustice, inequality, poverty, racism, corruption, gangland wars and drug dealers infesting our streets with cocaine, heroin, crack, cannabis and tablets, ruining lives, breaking up families and destroying communities. We see intimidation, manipulation and exploitation. People are living in fear, afraid to say anything or stand up in case they are assaulted or even murdered. I cannot stand by and watch this happen. Can you? How long do we look at each other down the barrel of a gun? You’re the Voice.

Once again we see racism poisoning our society with racist factions mobilising, trying to justify their cause and narrow minded views, by hiding behind political organisations. We have witnessed people in our cities being attacked and sadly losing their lives because of the colour of their skin. We don’t judge a book by its cover, so why do we judge someone because of their colour.

Do not tolerate these cowards in any shape or form. We must expose these people for who they really are and what they really stand for. You know sometimes you have to make a stand for what is right. This is such a time.

We see old age pensioners becoming housebound in their own homes because they live in fear for their lives. Where is the respect? Don’t these people know they were the very ones who fought for the country and the freedom we now enjoy! “At the going down of the sun in the morning we will remember them.” Or will we? They deserve more. They deserve our respect and our Voice.

We see psychics and the paranormal accepted and lauded by society as the answer to life’s problems when we know it is witchcraft and an abomination to God. People are looking for a voice, but in the wrong places. They don’t know the love of God and his amazing grace. The Voice of truth needs to be declared and lies to be exposed.

In schools we see it getting harder and harder to proclaim the gospel and share Jesus, in case it offends other religions. Isn’t this supposed to be a Christian nation?

I will not compromise the gospel. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:16.)

You’re the Voice, try and understand it make a noise and make it clear, we are not going to sit in silence, we are not going to live in fear.

YOU’RE THE VOICE

We see our basic Christian values being attacked. You can’t wear a cross but it’s ok to wear a veil or a bangle cos that isn’t a violation of dress code. You can’t wear purity rings but you can wear scarves or other head garments. People, wake up! this the start of the persecution of Christians and that is not going over the top by any means. We have the Christian church, yes the Christian church saying in their own wisdom that Our father should be taken out of the Lords prayer because it’s not politically correct with kids who don’t have dads. I will not stand for it! Where is the reverence of God gone?

Remember the occasion in Exodus 19 were God commanded Moses to go down and warn the people lest they break through to gaze at the Lord that many would perish. To consecrate themselves V 23. He is holy. He is the King of Kings. He is Lord of all. Our shepherd, our healer. Our El Shddai. The creator of all the world and he chooses to have a relationship with us,amen! He is not a mate or the big fella upstairs. He is to be held in reverence and respect for who he is. And yes he is our Father, a wonderful amazing father who loves us so much that he sent his son to die on the cross for us, (John 3-16 That if we repent and turn from our wicked ways he would forgive us, save us, lead us and guide us. Amen!

So are we just going to sit back and let these things happen? He deserves our highest honour. He deserves out highest praise. But most of all he deserves out highest loyalty. For all those people who have lost and given their lives by being a voice, we salute you and thank God for you. Lord I thank you for: Anthony Walker. Dr Martin Luther King. Keir Hardie. Rosa Banks. William Wilberforce to name but a few. Praise God for you! You will never be forgotten!

There is hope and an answer. His name is Jesus, the Voice of hope and salvation. He came for the poor, the broken hearted and the captive. Our city and nation needs to hear of The Saviour who loves them and who died for them. He is looking for a people to represent and to stand for him:

  • To be a Voice to a lost and a hurting world.

  • To stand for righteousness, truth, justice and equality.

  • To fight against ungodliness, corruption, lies, racism and everything that is wrong with our society.

  • If not now, when? If not us, who? You’re the Voice!

    Bless you
